Library - Subtle Torture

It's almost 5:30 on a Sunday and I'm sitting in a library on campus, across from Dweeb who's dutifully studying for calculus. Some days I'm actually grateful to be in marketing. I'm good at it, which means it requires minimal brain power for the most part. Maybe I should try doing something that is more challenging before my brain starts to turn into mush. Oh well, it works for me. :) Anyway, I'm sitting here looking around and they have these posters on the wall...a path through a lush green forest, a field of yellow flowers with a path going through it...a mountain stream in an autumn forest with yet another path going through it, actually a staircase carved into the stone covered in gold and orange and brown leaves...and then an underwater wonderland with fish and coral and sunshine floating down to the sea floor. I'm surrounded by these posters, and I'm sure they meant them to be some sort of therapeutic, don't worry you'll be done studying soon atmospheric aide, but really they just make me want to be there. I want to be frolicking down that perfectly brown dirt path through the green, plush forest, or swimming with the fishies. :( Why do they do this to me? Instead of calming me down, which okay it does, but it totally distracts from studying. Grr. Anyway. Guess I have to get back to studying.
